Chapter 2:

They put a bag over my head and tied my hands behind my back.  I could just faintly see through it.  It looks like their taking me to Westway national park, which was just a few blocks from my house.  I tried to get my hands free so I could take the bag off my head.  The smell of fuel and alcohol was strangling me.  I opened my mouth to scream and pray someone would hear me when the strangest voice interrupts my escape plans.

"Trying to run would be the dumbest mistake you could ever make.  It would probably be the last thing you ever do too.  Cause see we work for people who would pay anything for a royal princess." A deep voice, deeper than Felix's, snarled at me.  I tried to keep my cool as I answered.

"Umm, you have the complete wrong person I am the daughter of a lawyer and a cop.  Not a king and queen." I told the deep voice guy careful not to give away too much about my family.

"I know who you are!  Lying won't help anything so just keep your fake life to yourself." He exclaimed so loudly that I could swear I felt it in my bones.

"Well do I at least get to know who you are?" I slowly asked. He grumbled a few seconds before answering me.

"Might as well.  I am Julian. I am sure you have heard of me before, have you not?"  Even though I couldn't see him I could feel him watching me looking for some kind of sign that I know him.  Truth be told he sounded kind of familiar.  I can't place my finger on it but his name stuck a chord, somewhere deep in my mind.  I tried to remember where I know him from, but I couldn't.

"I think I do.  But, I would know for sure if you were to take off this bag that is over my head and currently gagging me."  I tried.  I was taught to try to put myself in a better situation if anyone tries to kidnap me.  I thought it was stupid at the time, but now I have my mom to thank.  Having a cop for a mom is awesome sometimes. I tried to get out by wiggling my wrists while I try to distract him.

"You are very clever little girl." He snarled again.  He stopped talking for so long that I actually thought he left.  "I will only take off the bag for a little while.  Just long enough for you to see who I am.  Then I will put the bag back on your head."  He pulls the bag off my head and the only thing I see is flashes of light before my vision clears up and I look around to try to make out where I am.  I look at Julian and see that he is about a 6'9 with short brown hair and he is really buff.  Which makes sense because his job is to capture people so they can be sold off for loads of money.

"Mmhhmm.  Yes, yes I think I recognize you."  I tried to wiggle myself free, although it wasn't working very well.  "Umm, you caught me at the wrong part of the month if you know what I mean.... I need to get to a bathroom ASAP."  It was a lie, granted but it was good enough to get him to leave me alone.

"Humph, you have ten minutes.  Don't make me come in there."  He huffed after he led me to the bathroom.

"I can't DO anything unless you untie me."  That wasn't a lie; I really couldn't do anything unless he untied me.  Just in the wrong context.  He studied me and grumbled a little before untying my hands.

"Ten minutes! No more than ten, if you're not done you're just not done."   I bat my eyes at him.

"Thank you."  But I didn't get an answer.  He just slammed the door.  Now that my hands weren't tied I could actually get something done.  I needed to get out of here, fast.  All I have to do is get to a phone and call my mom so she could get me out of here.  I need to get out as soon as possible.  I searched around the bathroom looking for an exit, but all I found was a locked window.  I checked my watch, it was 10:45.  I had been in here for about five minutes already so I had very limited time before he's going to come in here looking for me.  I looked around to see what I could use as a tool to break open the door.  All I found was a rusted old…The door burst open.  I turned around and looked to see my mom standing in the door.  Turns out that she put a tracking devise in my clothes and when Felix called her and told her that I hadn't shown up about ten minutes after I talked to him, she turned on the tracking devise and saw that I was here and immediately came after me.  As soon as I saw her I ran and all but threw myself at her, pulling her into a big hug.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"  Her strong, sturdy voice was full of concern.

"I'm fine.  Just scared."  I tried to make my voice sound like hers, but it didn't work.  It just came out shaky and, true to my word, scared.

"I promise you honey he is going to jail for a very long time." It was killing me to hear the concern in her voice.

"Can we just go home? Please."  All I wanted to do was go and climb in the shower and then climb into bed.

"Of course we can honey, of course."  We drove back to the house, which is about three story's with a built in four car garage.  My room has a walk in closet and a Jacuzzi built into my personal bathroom, and one whole wall in my room is nothing but a mirror.  There is a 92in. flat screen hanging on my wall, and my amazing parents painted my room my most favorite color ever!  BLUE!!!!  Oh and I'm a bit of a wolf fanatic so they got this really talented painter to paint a snow white wolf howling at the moon.  I guess you could say that my family is rich; I mean we own millions of dollars, but I'm just like everyone else.  I can get sick and I have "that time of the month" just like every other normal girl.  I don't think really anything would change, except maybe my room, if we didn't have the money we have now.  The downside to my parents though, is that it takes a lot for them to approve a guy.  I have had at least a dozen guys that they didn't approve of, which of course meant I couldn't see him.  I tried to see one guy, his name was Jordan, after they told me no but when my mom found out she all but shot him.  I just can't go through that embarrassment again.  So when we got home I mumbled thanks to my mom and shot up to my room on the third floor, which is just for me, and when I walked into my room then first thing I saw was my cell phone that I must have dropped, laying on my bed.  When I picked it up I saw that there was a note attached to it.  All the note said was "Call Me" and there was a number under it.  So I ran downstairs and I saw my mom standing in the kitchen telling our cook what she wanted for dinner.

"Mom, did you happen to find my phone when you found me?" I questioned her carefully.

"No. I didn't see it anywhere.  Why? What's wrong?"  She looked at me with complete concern.

"Nothing's wrong." I lied. "I was just asking."

"Well we can go look for a new one tomorrow if you want." She said.

"No, no, I think I know where it's at." I rushed out of the kitchen and down the hall and out our huge double doors.  I kept running until I was near town hall, which is about 1.5 miles.  I finally stopped once I got about 7 miles from my house.  I pulled out my phone and the number with it, debating if I should call the number.  I decide after about five minutes that I would call Felix and Stella first.

"Hello? Willow?" His voice held almost as much worry as my mom's.

                "Hey."

                "What happened to you?"

"I was kidnapped.....Some guy named Julian grabbed me on my way to you."

"Oh My God! Are you okay?"

"Yea I'm fine. I'm just going to be smelling alcohol for the next couple days." As soon as I said it I knew it was the wrong thing to say.  See Felix has a record for being really protective of all his friends that are girls.

"And why is that?" Even thought I couldn't see him I could tell he was talking through clenched teeth.

"It's nothing I promise.  My mom took care of him." I stopped and took a deep breath.  "I just wanted you and Stell to know that I'm not dead and that I didn't bail."

"Where are you?" The question was expected, but not the way he said it.  It sounded like a mix between protective and....and love.  I was so not prepared for that.

"I'm...." I took another deep breath, getting ready to lie, "I'm at home in my back yard.  I told you I'm fine."

"You're lying through your teeth Willow.  Where are you?"  Still hearing the love in his voice, I shiver. I close my eyes and debate telling him where I'm at.  I finally decide to tell him, mostly because I want to see what his tone of voice was about.

"I'm about two miles from the park that we used to go to all the time.  Right next to Kelly's old jewelry store."

"I'll be right there." He hangs up.  I pull the number out of my pocket and dial it.

"Hello?  Who is this?" It was a guy.  His voice sounded a bit like Felix's but not as heavy toned.

"Um, my name is Willow M. Yekel and this number was left next to my phone. Who is this?"  I hear mumbling on the other side, and then a thump like he dropped the phone.  After about a minute he answered, but it sounded he had passed out for a second.

"Willow! Umm, okay I know this is going to sound strange but...umm...well you see.... Okay did a guy named Julian come after you today?" He managed to choke out.

                 "How would you know that?"

"Well, did he tell you that you are a part of a royal family?"  This was starting to get really creepy.

                "Yyyyeeaaa, how do know that?"

"Because....I'm..... I'm your twin brother."  I froze. My brother?!? There's no way.

"Wow I don't even know you and you're already lying to me."

"Why would I lie to you when, as you say, I don't even know you?"  In a twisted way this made sense but I wasn't about to listen to that.

"There's no way.  I'm an only child, I have one sister!"

"Those aren't your real parents.  Why do you think they're so rich? Our parents pay them to take care of you."

I don't know what happened after that because all I saw was black.
